WordCamp is Coming to Manila!

And none other than Matt Mullenweg was said to be coming over to our nice little country to join us all WordPress fanatics in a fun-filed and educational event. Philippine Flag Shows Up at the iTunes Apps Store - Lovely!

Yes, finally our own Philippine flag is now hoisted at the iTunes Store. Although music download is not yet enabled, there are some pretty cool applications that we can all download for our iPod Touch units, since the iPhone is not yet available here. Finally, after several days of fun-filled hype and buzz, the WWDC has ended. Apple’s Steve Jobs and the rest of his crew went hope happy as they finally unveiled the second coming of their famous TOY - the iPhone2, or iPhone 3G however you may want to call it - it’s the APPLE iPhone. The uber cool mobile phone which have eluded the Philippins mobile phone market (except for some underground distribution deals, i.e. kababayans, black markets etc.). The iPhone is Coming to the Philippines via Globe Telecom

Yeah baby! I know it’s long overdue. But it looks like the iPhone is heading to Manila. Engadget cited this report from Reuters, announcing the launch of the iPhone in Asia. Singtel snagged the distribution rights in Singapore and hence it will also be bringing the iPhone to India via its Bharti Group, Optus for Australia, and yes GLOBE Telecom for the Philippines. Review: Kodak EasyShare M1033 10mp HD Digital Camera

I’ve been toying around with the product sample of the Kodak EasyShare M1033 for a couple of days now, and I must say that I’m pretty impressed with the M1033’s functionality and features. For a small camera of this size, you wouldn’t expect it to wallop some large scale features that you would commonly find in bigger cameras. But then, the M1033 proves the old adage that “small but terrible”. For the Kodak M1033 is definitely small in size, but terribly big in camera features. Read on to find out why.

I would love to have that WordPress Mug

Drooling with envy at Lorelle’s WordPress Mug. That mug would certainly come in handy with my favorite brew while beating some writing deadlines. The Mug comes in cobalt blue with the WordPress logo, and sells for around $20. I would love to order it from the WordPress shop but I’m afraid it won’t reach me as well just like what happened to the red WP T-shirt I ordered which might have been lost in space until now. Arrgh!
