Globe now accepting pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Note II, Free at Plan 2499

I just got an email update from Globe Telecoms. One of the update was about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note II. This is of course the follow-up to Samsung’s famous “phablet” of the same name. This time around the device is made even more powerful with the upgrade of its processor to quad-core. The Samsung Galaxy Note II also features a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display and a plethora of other advanced features.

Globe did not mention specific release date and pricing information yet. But Globe is holding a promotional gig for the device by way of giving out free tickets to David Grueta’s gig in Manila. You’ll get these tickets if you avail of the Galaxy Note via Globe’s Plan 2499. The device comes free with the data plan subscription.

What we’re not sure about is whether Globe will be offering the Galaxy Note under different data plans/schemes.

If you’ve been eyeing the Galaxy Note since it was announced, Globe’s offer is one of the way by which you can avail of this device. Its unlocked version will be offered by Widget City for Php 31K. Smart is also hinting about the device although no definite information was released yet.
