Online Donation for Typhoon Ondoy Victims in Manila

Just doing my share…

You’ve probably read the news, watched the video (try searching YouTube for keyworks – “Ondoy”), saw the photos and all. Now it’s our turn to help.Got this from Shai Coggins’ blog. Just click on the link to donate.

The Philippine National Red Cross is one of the major organisations providing aid to those affected by the floods. Wherever you are in the world, you can send your donations to them through this online donations form. Choose “Typhoon Ondoy” in the Project/Activity drop down selection.

UPDATE: I just found PhilippineAid, a place where you can send donations via Paypal using ChipIn. They also intend to send the amount collected to PNRC. So, I decided that that’s a probably better way of doing it instead of starting a separate collection.

Note: Was among those who were lucky enough to be spared from the flood waters in Marikina Area. Our village was just nearby.

  1. I was just seeking this information for some time. After 6 hours of continuous Googleing, at last I got it in your web site. I wonder what’s the lack of Google strategy that do not rank this type of informative web sites in top of the list. Usually the top sites are full of garbage.
