Globe Releases iPhone 3GS Prices

There you go, Globe Telecoms has finally revealed the Philippine prices of the new iPhone 3GS. Both the 16GB and 32GB models will be available on various Globe data plans as well as other postpaid and prepaid packages. Pre-order will start on July 15, and shipment date will be on the 31st. Wohoo! Are you getting the new iPhone 3GS? See schedule of prices after the jump.Globe iPhone Plans:

Plan 399 – Php 30, 650 (16GB), Php 36,250 (32GB)
Plan 899 – Php 24,850 (16GB), Php 30,450 (32GB)
Plan 1599 – Php 12,850 (16GB), Php 18, 450 (32GB)
Plan 2199 – Php 7,550 (16GB), Php 13,150 (32GB)
Plan 3299 – Free (16GB), Php 5,250 (32GB)
Plan 3999 – Free (16GB), Free (32GB)
Plan 4999 – Free (16GB), Free (32GB)

Interestingly, the 16GB iPhone 3GS is priced lower than when the iPhone 3G (8GB) was released last year.

Do i really need to have a reservation before actually getting it? or can i simply ask one and pay over the counter? Got cash for a pre-paid kit; but can i have a 32gb iphone 3Gs when i drop by the globe telecom?

they say plan 899 is much cheaper than that of plan 400 upon computation in the long run, is it true?

Inquiring about possible iphone 3Gs plan by ringing globe center up but to no avail. Due to work constraints and besides having no globe center in my poor province, i cannot visit any. Seeing some threads, there seem to be “shortage” in the supply. Anyone who could inquire if so? I wanted to purchase one if only to be assured that i would end up getting one and not going back empty-handed.

Fret – If you have an existing Globe plan, you can try going to Globe Hub at the Podium. I applied for a new plan with reference to my wife’s existing plan. The Globe staff in Podium was pretty helpful in making sure that I don’t leave their shop without a new iPhone 3GS.

Try calling this number and ask to be connected to Globe Hub.

Actually I’m a smart pre-paid user. Now that i’m interested in an iphone 3gs, I decided to shift to globe if only to get one. My friend who is a “loyal” globe constumer generously offered me to continue his existing plan as he is already qualified to apply for a new unit. He applied at globe center in Naga city two weeks ago. He told me that he is still willing to apply the plan in his name. Of course, I assured him that I am willing to pay for whatever cash out and dues incurred in the application.) However, he has yet to know and was simply told to wait for a call or email if his application is approved (which leave me in doubt if he really could get one for me sooner considering some complaints i’ve read from threads in this regard.) I am also forwarding the globe hub number you sent me to my friend for him to check his application once in a while.

Planning to go to mla 3 wks from now. I’m opting for a pre-paid kit if only to check if they would prioritize such transaction. Still keeping my fingers crossed…

already got my white iphone 3Gs at globe trinoma. I applied for a pre-paid kit. it took me more than three weeks before they called me up for pick up. However, the post paid unit which i planned to continue from my friend via existing plan has not been much of a success. it has been 1 month and more than two weeks but still without any reply. Good that i decided to try applying for a prepaid kit which seemed to have had a favorable reply.
