Sandbox is Now Ready for All of You

April 28, 2009 · Posted in Social Networks, Web 2.0

For the past several months, I’ve been participating in beta testing a new social networking site/online community of bloggers, online Pinoy warriors or simply the hip and the cool crowd. The site – Sandbox.  Together with selected individuals, we’ve been beta testing Sandbox’ features which includes blogs, forums, groups, email, microblogging and more. And today, Sandbox is now open to the public. You can now register at http://www.mysandbox.com. Upon registration, you can build your personal profile and start communicating, networking and interacting with the current members as well as new ones.

And why would you want to join another social networking site/online community?  Check these five reasons.

Hi Arnold! I was just roaming the Internet reading PSP game reviews and learned that there is now a PSP3000, and very soon, a PSP Go! I thought to myself, it’s a tough time to be a gamer because they’re churning out these gadgets more frequently now! And then I remembered Pinoygamer! So I dropped by to say hi! Have a good weekend.

Oh yeah I forgot to ask, is Sandbox also open to Filipinos abroad? I noticed that the signup requires a mobile number based in the Philippines…

Hi Nick. Thanks for dropping by. I bought a PSP Slim which was sequestered by my son. As for mobile gaming, I get a dose of that from my iPhone.

re Sandbox, the web version – mysandbox.com is open to anyone. There will be a mobile version up for launch soon.
