Having handed down my old Acer Aspire Notebook to Lean (my incoming freshman son), I needed to find a replacement for it quickly. It took me one week to decide on what to get. I almost succumb to the temptation of the white MacBook, but the practical side of me took over, and up to the last minute, I decided to go for a notebook PC instead – the MSI PR400x-BK2.
With just a few days of using the MSI PR400x, I would have to say that I was not disappointed. This laptop certainly got power and an old classic look. Never mind if it doesn’t look as good as the MacBook. I’m thankful I didn’t trade that for the P25K difference in price.
Anyway, the MSI PR400 laptop features a fingerprint scanner for secured login. But I haven’t really activated this feature as I’m having a hard time scanning my fingerprint.

ive already installed win7 in my msi pr400x but the sound isnt working.. there is already sound driver installed. it is included in win 7. i dont know what is the problem of this but do you think win 7 is not compatible with the msi sound hardware?
Hello. please help me in my laptop because after reinstalling the operating system of my computer, I have just drive all the necessary drivers needed by my computer except the built-in camera’s which was read as Bison Cam and appears in the desktop “PCI Flash Memory found hardware.”

i also have the pr400x… ung webcam nya makikita nyo sa my computer n folder… taz kung wala pwede nyo pagawa sa cubao sa warehouse nila.. pero ndi ko n tanda ung xact address ehh.. libre lang as long as sa loob p ng warranty…:-)
ung bat ko din sira na for 15mins max n lang ung lyf and mamatay n kailangan ng isasak sa outlet…..

Just got my pr400, 2nd hand. Reformatted it and installed winxpsp3 without any problems pero ayaw gumana nung vertical scrolling sa touchpad. I can’t find any software to install para gumana sya.
Can anyone point me to the right application?

Dude, you just have to go to control panel – sound setting. Select one of the “High Definition Driver”(there are 2) and make it as default. The other sound driver works on the front panel audio socket. That’s for MSI PR400x on windows 7 without installing any driver(win7 stock driver is used). Your foul mouth won’t help solving the problem mr. computard.
