5 Tips to a Successful Paid Blogging Gig

Blogging has been good to me since I started two years ago, not in the financial sense but in some other ways that transcended into financial gains. When I started blogging, I never though I would be a tech writer. Moreso, I never thought that I would be paid to write about tech related stuff considering that my educational background is librarianship. Who would have believed in a librarian writing on tech related topics? But then, my interest on technology and web related stuff made me to study and educate myself on my own. With no formal educational background on computer related subjects, I am currently writing about tech related articles on several blog networks with monthly incentives. I may not be earning that much compared to other big time tech bloggers, but the online visibility that those blogging gigs is bringing to my name is enough compensation than getting substantive financial gains from paid blogging gigs.

Wabbadabba, a Search Engine that Gives You Prizes for a Search

Technorati Classifies Blog Posts into Topics

Technorati started rolling some enhancements to its blog portal, the first of these enhancements is the Technorati topics. Topics gives Technorati fans a new way of reading the millions of blog posts that Technorati collections, by five topical categories, entertainment, technology, Politics, Business and Life. These five topics are obviously the most sought after topics in blog posts. Technorati topics presents the most recent blog posts and updates the listings on a regular and timely basis. Problogger’s Tip to an Effective 404 Error Page

I accidentally typed in a sub-page in my domain that no longer exist and was redirected by the browser to my 404 Error page. I haven’t really given too much attention to this page and never bothered to modify the default 404 page that comes in with the WordPress themes that I install. Until now, when I noticed that the default 404 page was not only annoyingly simple but pretty much a waste of space and bandwith if somebody chanced upon it.
