paypal_logo.gifEbay’s online payment arm Paypal is offering credit financing scheme to attract more users. PayPal’s pay later scheme was developed in cooperation with GE Money Bank.

Called PayPal Pay Later, the new financing scheme would allow Ebay merchants credit accouns to customers with 90 days no payment options.

Hopefully this scheme gets picked up by Philippine online merchants, or perhaps by Ebay Philippines and find a solid financing institution to provide the credit scheme. This would certainly attract Filipino shoppers to do their shopping online, more specifically on Ebay’s Philippine portal.

Buy now pay later scheme is a widely sought service availed by Filipino shoppers, specifically those wanting to fulfill their gadget wish list. More popularly known locally as zero% installment package, I’ve known a lot of people who have flocked to stores offering such schemes together with major credit card providers.

Offering Paypal Pay Later scheme in various Filipino based online stores would definitely become a big hit in the local market and bury Filipino consumers deeper into financial debts. :-)
