The Joys of SEO Work
SEO work entails a lot of patient and hard work. An SEO experts and wannabes (like this blogger), all go through a rough learning and mastering SEO tips and tricks. For what? Being on the top spot of the 3 big search engines (Yahoo, MSN and Google). And what sheer joy it is when one day, when you search for the search term that speaks of your blog’s niche, you find your blog on the number one spot of the search engines’ results. Joy was what I felt when I found my blog entry for the 2nd SEO Philippines keyword ranking contest, landing on the first page of the SERP for the contest keyword.
This is the same joy I felt when I found my contest entry for the Bayanihan SEO contest, Our Paradise Philippines landing on the 2nd pages of both Yahoo and MSN search (Update, its number six on MSN as of this writing!). 
Wow! now that’s what I call sweetest fruit of labor. I know, its still a long way to go before the contest ends. But if that’s how SEO works. You have to gain an early lead and maintain your top position for as long as you want. Hopefully, with the consistency of posting and some SEO trade secrets I learned along the way, my paradise Philippines entry would retain its current ranking.
The next challenge is, getting our paradise philippines appear on Google SERP.
