The Filipino Inmates Who Got Famous through Viral Video
I first saw this YouTube video of Cebu Inmates, all 1,500 of them doing their own version of Michael Jackson’s Thriller, at John Chow’s blog. Then at Sarah Meyers blog who mentioned that it was already posted at BoingBoing. Michael Kwan also picked the video and posted it in his blog as well. So, I decided to check out YouTube and found several uploads already. The original upload already has more than 2million page views! I think this is enough reason for me to buy a Wii gaming console. An article at Yahoo News reports of a Canadian Health Club utilizing Nintendo’s “gaming” console as part of its fitness program. Actually, super-cool is not the appropriate term, but “noble†is a better term to describe SwitchPlanet. Noble in the sense that in avertedly, it promotes the 3Rs of environmental friendliness – reuse, reduce and recycle.
Hierarchy of Successful (Filipino) Bloggers
Daniel of Daily Blog Tips categorized the different kinds of bloggers and came up with a hierarchy of successful bloggers. He divided the different types of bloggers into four categories, defined each of the levels and cited example of successful bloggers in each of the categories. Here’s my version of the hierarchy of bloggers but more specifically successful Filipino bloggers.
