And the 2007 Webby Awards Goes To!

There are too many good sites from the list of winners, just dig in to find which among the winners are your favorite. But the following three special awards are the quite popular:

• Webby Lifetime Achievement: David Bowie
• Webby Lifetime Achievement: eBay
• Webby Person of the Year: Steve Chen & Chad Hurley, Co-Founders, YouTube

Unexpectedly LinkedIn snatched away the award for the social networking category, beating equally popular rival Facebook. Thank goodness mySpace was not nominated, otherwise it would have easily gotten the People’s Choice Winner for this category.
