Finally, finally! After waiting for more than a month, after a dozen follow ups to the PLDT customer service hotline (171), and after getting stood up by a PLDT lineman, somebody from the PLDT activated my DSL connection. It took not more than 30 mins for the PLDT representative to set up my DSL connection. Ironically, it took them more than a month to go to my house and set it up.
I hope PLDT improves on this process flaw to lessen the number of disgruntled customers. After all, PLDT is still a service company.
And yes, download speed of PLDT’s DSL is fast! I did a speed test and got the following result:
