People Powered Search Cha-Cha?

Cha-Cha is another search engine that is out to compete with the big G. What makes it different though is that it claims to be a “people powered search”. But that doesn’t mean that people instead of program algorithms do the actual search (duh). What Cha-Cha means about “people powered search” is that users or surfers since it is a web application, can choose to do their search with the help of a human guide. (more…)

Wordpress 2.0.6 is now out and answers a very important security fix that created a buzz in the blogosphere a few days ago. Particularly the HTML-injection which poses a high-risk bug in all wordpress blog using older versions of WP. (more…)

Spammers, Spam bots Are Back

During the last week of December, this blog had experience a respite from all the spam comments posted by spambots or whatever you call them. But this morning, they are back. I currently have around 10 comments waiting for moderation. And all of them are spam comments. (more…)
