Google Co-op Custom Search Engine for Librarians

The Filipino Librarian has an interesting post about LISZEN, which is actually an application of Google Co-op, or the Google Custom Search Engine which was launched a couple of weeks ago. Yuga tested it a couple of weeks ago with his Yugatech Search.

Avilon Zoo in Montalban, Rizal

I finally visited the much talked about Avilon Zoo in Rodriguez (Montalban), Rizal. It was a fun-filled and educational trip. The travel time from Quezon City Memorial Circle was well worth it once you communed with the many animals inside the Avilon Zoo.

This thursday, I will be attending the 1st Meeting of Philippine Experts on Cataloging at the National Library of the Philippines. This meeting aims to replicate the 4th IFLA Meeting of Experts on an International Cataloging which was earlier held in Seoul Korea.

For Bloglines users, you may have noticed an additional tab on the left side of your bloglines screen–the playlists button. This playlist tab is the recent addition to the Bloglines features which enables users to organize their feeds in small groups.
