Walt Crawford’s 30-page essay on the Library 2.0 is an eye opener for those who are in the early stage of understanding the concept and at the same time confuse those who have no idea of the concept yet.

I would reserve my comments on his essay until I’ve read the full article. In the meantime I suggest that you download the essay in PDF format, read and digest it. You’d learn a lot from the essay.

And yes I agree to what he says that Librarians should not worry about Library 2.0, it is just a name. A name given to a collective set of tools, ideas, technologies to form a new concept.
